Don Bosco High School, Panjim, on 30th Sept and 3rd October organized an exciting Mental Maths Competition for students of classes 5, 6, and 7. The event aimed to sharpen the mental arithmetic skills of young learners, encouraging quick thinking and problem-solving abilities. Students competed house wise in a series of challenging rounds, tackling complex calculations without the aid of calculators or written work. The competition not only fostered a spirit of healthy competition but also helped boost the participants' confidence in handling numbers. It was a fun and enriching experience for all, highlighting the importance of mental agility in education.
Congratulations to Tagore House from Class V for lifting the winner's trophy for Mental Maths Competition. Bose House followed closely, showcasing their strong performance. For Class VI, Nehru House emerged victorious, while Tagore House once again brought glory by winning the competition in Class VII. The event was a thrilling display of mathematical prowess, with students demonstrating exceptional mental agility and teamwork. The participants' enthusiasm and dedication made the competition a memorable success for the entire school community.
