Learning Beyond the Classroom: An Educational Tour to Reis Magos Fort, Goa

The students of Class 5 from Don Bosco High School went on an educational tour to Reis Magos Fort as part of their environmental studies class. The visit provided them with a deeper understanding of Goa’s rich history, architecture, and its connection to the environment.

The students explored the fort’s well-preserved structure, learned about its historical significance, and enjoyed the scenic view of the Mandovi River. They also observed the surrounding flora and fauna, linking their classroom learning to real-world experiences. The trip was both educational and enjoyable, leaving the students with valuable insights into Goa’s heritage and environment.

Additionally, going out together as a class helped strengthen their teamwork, cooperation, and social skills. It also made learning more interactive and enjoyable, fostering a sense of curiosity and shared experiences among the students.
