Don Bosco High School, Panjim celebrated India's Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The celebration commenced with the escorting of the Chief Guest Brig A.S. Sawhney by our smartly marching NCC cadets, accompanied by our Rector and Headmaster Rev Fr Avin Carvalho. The spirit of patriotism reverberated throughout the school campus as the Chief Guest Brig A.S. Sawhney Commandant 2 STC hoisted the flag. As the tricolor flag fluttered in the air, everyone present stood in unison, paying their respects to the nation singing the national anthem with unwavering devotion.
Students showcased their talents with a captivating skit filled with melodies of patriotic songs, stirring speeches and vibrant dances. The performances beautifully portrayed India's struggle for Independence, the diversity of its culture, and the unity that binds the nation together.
Our distinguished Chief Guest Brig A.S. Sawhney addressed the gathering with his inspirational speech emphasizing the importance of preserving the values of dedication, sincerity and unity while serving the nation in any field.
