On the 16th of August 2024, Don Bosco High School, Panjim, celebrated the birth anniversary of Don Bosco with an interhouse quiz competition. Organized in collaboration with the Past Pupils of Don Bosco, the event took place at 9:45 AM in the AV Hall, bringing students together in a spirited contest. Rev. Fr. Banzelao Texeira, Vice Provincial of the Province of Panjim, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The quiz was conducted by Mr. Alroy Fernandes, co-founder of Inquizitors, whose lively hosting added to the event's energy. Five members from each house, representing classes VII to X, competed across five rounds: Warmup, Complete the Quote, Name the Dream, Buzzer Round, and Rapid Fire.

The event was organized by Mr. Asher Fernandes, with support from Mr. Luis Fernandes, President of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco. Student coordinators Nathan Noronha, Ethan Branganza, and David D'Souza ensured the smooth execution, while Ms. Ria Rodrigues served as timekeeper and Ms. Aarathi Vissa as scorekeeper.

The quiz began with an address by the headmaster, Fr. Avin Carvalho, who inspired the students with words on Don Bosco’s values. After a close competition, Gandhi House, represented by Achazio Collaco, Nathanael D'Cunha, Rayden D'Silva, Joy Pereira, and Philander Fernandes, secured the runners-up position. Nehru House, with members Wilbur Mesquita, Mark Carvalho, Yafi Sheikh, Vivek Da Costa Frias, and Jayden Fernandes, emerged as the overall champions. The event concluded with reflections from Rev. Fr. Banzelao Texeira and Mr. Luis Fernandes, followed by the presentation of participation certificates to all students. The quiz was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of learning and healthy competition among the students.
