On World Yoga Day, Don Bosco High School saw enthusiastic participation from boys in the 7th, 8th, and 9th standards. The event, held in the Oratory, aimed to promote physical and mental well-being through the ancient practice of yoga.
The celebration began with a brief introduction to the history and benefits of yoga, followed by a series of guided sessions. Experienced Physical Education Teacher, Sir Asif Shaik led the boys through various asanas, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation techniques. The students displayed remarkable focus and discipline, seamlessly transitioning from one posture to another.
The rains created an atmosphere, one of serenity and mindfulness, as everyone engaged in the practice.
Celebrating World Yoga Day not only highlighted the importance of health and fitness but also strengthened the bond within the Don Bosco community.
