A vibrant Portuguese Day was a celebration reflecting the deep cultural ties between Goa and Portugal. The event was a blend of history, culture, and fun, aimed at educating students about the rich Portuguese heritage that has influenced Goan culture for centuries.

The day kicked off with a special gathering for the event. The chief guest, Dr Paulo Gomes, Director of the FUNDAÇÃO ORIENTE in Goa spoke on the occasion addressing all the Portuguese students and the staff . The assembly featured speeches highlighting the historical connections between Goa and Portugal, emphasizing the importance of understanding and preserving this shared heritage.

The celebration included a cultural programme with a variety of activities such as traditional Portuguese music and dance performances, culinary demonstrations featuring popular Portuguese dishes. The event was expertly organized and orchestrated by Sir Mario Monteiro De Sousa, Professor- Portuguese and his team.
