On the 26th of August 2022, a few of our school students attended a computers and robotics workshop organised by the Goa State Innovation Council at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda. The Goa Innovation Council addressed the students on the topic of 3D-printing, laser cutting and Robotics. They showed and illustrated the working of a 3D printer, it's mechanism and also created various models in the Prototyping Lab. As for Robotics, the students learnt about robots and it's functioning. Students were also given a chance to build their own mini-robot which was handed over to our school as a souvenir. At the end of the session, Rev Fr Kinley D'cruz, the director of DBCE enlightened everyone by his wonderful words. To conclude the session one of our students proposed the vote of thanks. Fr. Kinley distributed 3D printed vases to each of our staff members as a token of appreciation which was followed by a group photograph. It was an enriching and educational trip which will truly empower innovative minds.
